We have a new parrot in the house and one night I spent an hour browsing Amazon looking for the perfect playpen for her. I wanted something permanent, not painted or painted and big enough for when we add another bird to our house. Anyway, yesterday I received this playpen in the mail. It came disassembled, which is not surprising, and was packaged very carefully, even including its own screwdriver! Inside the box was information that prompted me to go to YouTube to watch an assembly video. To be honest it looked so easy I didn't even bother. It took me 10 minutes to assemble. The playpen is made of thick, high-quality wood. No obvious splinters or anything like that. Comes with really big steel cups that attach to the pole. It's big enough for two cockatiel-sized birds or several parrots. Our little bird took a little time today and sang her little heart a little. So happy I bought!
