I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

Actually, there is only one claim to Silicon Power. Roulette. I read reviews, reviews about this drive, someone gets inside Toshiba, and someone gets Seagate ST1000LM024.

Pros
  • Warranty 36 months, good protection against mechanical damage, design.
Cons
  • The hard drive was purchased on 03/17/2022. And on 07/11/2022 it broke. The blue power indicator is on, spinning, beeping when connected, but the computer does not see it. Disassembled it. Inside was a Seagate ST1000LM024 which has 2 points on amazon. Directly connected via Sata to the motherboard, the result is similar. I checked the ports on the motherboard, hard on the laptop, TV, died. Used a maximum of 45% of the volume. It's good that there was a backup of information on an old USB 2.0 hard drive.

Could not be used as a portable there is no guarantee that when connected to a new device, the supply current will be enough to start it. I use it for backups and trips paired with my laptop.

The disc met all expectations! Never failed and did not harm. It also works with interface 2.0 but not very willingly (it can be capricious). And if you turn it over during operation, it makes a little noise: the disk is spinning.
