Almost perfect fit

I bought these armrest covers for my 2012 Nissan Quest. They were the perfect shape for an armrest, but they were too big. Since I have a sewing machine, I don't see this as a problem. I turned it over and sewed about 1/2 inch through each seam. Please look at my photo to see what I mean. For me the most important thing was that it was the right shape for my armrest. After about 15 minutes I had a perfect fit all around. There is a photo of the cover after I made the adjustment. The material it is made of is light foam on the inside, knitted on the outside. if it helps For the price they can't be beat.
