Scotch Electrical Expensive, nice: the whole truth about this product

I will start the story from afar. Back in 2004, I bought myself quite decent Sennheiser brand headphones, but it’s a shame - in the tenth year of operation, the ear pads began to collapse and the body of the head holders began to crack. At first I repaired the first ones, and then I found a replacement on Aliexpress, but with the second ones there was a problem. You can't hold them with glue, so I decided to act in a complex way. Inside, he filled it with hot-melt adhesive so that there was a reliable support, and outside he began to rewind it with different tapes. Why different? Because they didn't live long. Literally after three or four months, the glue began to spread and stick to the hands and hair, and the tapes slowly unraveled and slipped. I tried "Abro" and nameless tapes, I tried "Moment" and "Vigor" reinforced tapes. Everything is the same. And so - this spring I drove into the local "Chip and Dip" in search of parts, saw this one and decided to buy a small roll. It turned out expensive, several times more expensive than the same "Abro", but - it was worth it. Six months have passed, and the adhesive base does not flow and the electrical tape holds the plastic. There was another breakdown - the protrusion on the lid broke off at the recorder, and it does not hold on. But - I grabbed it with this electrical tape, and so that it was easy to open the battery pack. That is, the electrical tape is peeled off and sealed approximately 2-3 times a week. And also - nothing - a piece normally keeps this mode for 4 months. In general - the company, as usual, does not knit brooms. I have known this brand for a long time, and I always say that double-sided tape can only be 3M, and everything else is an imitation. It turned out that with electrical tape - the same story. So I highly recommend.
