Review on Delphi FG1202 Fuel Module by Andrew Jenkins

Replaced original pump at 100,000 in March 2018 due to starting problems (according to the service bulletin). The Delphi pump was noisy and was replaced under warranty within two weeks. The replacement was a little quieter, but the gauge didn't drop off evenly, going from 3/4 tank to 1/2 tank within 50 miles. Just got used to it. May 2020 the problem with the hard start is back. Operating fuel pressure is fine, but when the engine is shut off there can be a drop in fuel pressure of up to 10psi in 10 seconds. The bike wrench only gets 20psi, the long handle ends up getting 40psi and it starts. I replaced it with a Spectra SP2078M for a third less and the car starts/runs like a dream! (Besides silence!) There is no more Delphi for this client.
