I have been a fan of Vornado heaters for many years. They are reliable and have a 5-year guarantee. Out of the 15 or so I owned I only sent 1 back for warranty repair and after about 4 years and from what I can remember they had to get me to cut the cable on the old one, take a picture of the warranty (manufacture) date and you to send me a new one. Pretty painless. I usually have 2 or 3 cycles from mid-October to mid-April. I have one in my RV, one in my motorcycle trailer and one in a room in my shop. Each of them essentially works 6 months a year.
