I recently bought a case that allows for vertical GPU mounting and bought it because it matches the rest of the components (black). Thermaltake has always worked well for me in the past and this expansion didn't disappoint. There is a lot of discussion online about the quality, performance and durability of the PCI-E extender, but this one works fine for me on a GTX 1080Ti SC2. I had no durability or performance issues and didn't have to spend any extra money or wait extra time for the 3M option. Also, the color matches.
