It's a bit higher than my old executive chair. Palm rest is ok. I like that the armrests are set back a little so they don't hit the table and that they fold down for us guitarists. .I'm 1.80 m tall - my legs protrude at least 30 cm over the edge of the seat. It feels like I'm sitting in a high chair - * Top edge of seat (in lowest position), 16 inches off the floor. *Update October 2017: I'm used to a higher chair and a firmer back support. . The armrests are not damaged because they never touch the edge of the table. (Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars). Update October 2019: A few small tears in the vinyl seat, the left armrest wobbles a bit when I press it off.
