The first week I had the AC it cooled great. It is pretty loud, but not unbearable, I mean it is an AC in your room. This AC was NOT energy efficient at all. Since I plugged it in my electric bill this summer was higher than the previous 5 summers I’ve lived in my house, and that’s with not turning down my big AC at night. I have another brand in my game room that works better and did not affect my bill. I would not but again and will give it away to someone who needs it in my community.
