After about an hour of frustration and using both of the screen protectors that came with it, I put one on. Without much time, patience, or preparation, you'll get a bubble-free installation. I don't think the manufacturer can improve anything. It's just too much surface area and too big a sheet to allow for a completely smooth application; it is not the same as putting a screen protector on a cell phone. Yes, I followed the instructions. Once I applied it definitely reduced the glare on my screen almost completely. This is actually a huge improvement in terms of glare reduction. However, there are too many small bubbles. When the image on the screen is bright enough, bubbles are not visible, but they are very noticeable on darker images. Also, it looks horrible when the screen is off, but that doesn't really matter.
