is divided into an HDMI 4k hdr and an HDMI input for an audio receiver

I liked that it can be used to feed a 4k hdr TV and an HDMI input for an audio receiver. One of the comments said it wouldn't work that way. Maybe they meant the separation of the sound from the optical sound to the receiver. My receiver has 4k upscale, but no HDMI 2.2. Set the copy mode and do not use the automatic transfer from the input source to the splitter. I used a high-end Roku device with 4K HDR support. The splitter gets very hot when a signal is present. Not at idle. This setting reduces audio latency instead of using ARC.
