Great boot. I keep the laces and insoles as a back up and replace them with ironlaces and Dr Scholl's gel insoles for men over 200lbs. I then lube them up really well with Obenaufs and lace them really tight and walk around to loosen the leather up. I clean and lube them everyday after work for the first week. Once that is over having these boots on is like wearing tennis shoes. The quality of the boot and the comfort just cannot be beat. I've tried redwing and Danner but since I got my first pair of thorogoods I won't wear anything else. I'm very hard on boots, danners and redwings seem to last me about 3-4 months but thorogoods usually last 6-8 months.Second picture is a new boot next to one I wore to work for about 8 months.
