Review on 🍗 Calphalon 2029653 Premier Hard-Anodized Nonstick 16-Inch Roaster with Rack, Black: The Ultimate Cookware for Perfect Roasting by Todd Mamat

Purchased to replace our 10 year old grill pan. Calphalon arrived well wrapped in a nice box. It looks exactly as advertised. The handle is strong and smooth - feels good in the hand. Our old grill pan had a very low rim. It has a nice high brim that helps trap/retain fat. I made bacon in it this morning. My wife commented that it was a good weight - not too heavy compared to our old one. It looks good and feels good. If there was only one comment I could make it would be that I'd rather have a few more grill combs. Our old grill pan left lots of nice parallel grill marks on things like a grilled cheese sandwich. This new Calphalon pan has just a few fewer grilling imperfections. It really doesn't matter much. We are very happy with our purchase. Follow-up review We've been using this pan for over two months. It may just be a frying pan, but I have to tell you that we are VERY happy with it. The shell is great. No scratch. Nothing sticks there. Nothing! This pan is very easy to clean and looks like new. It's very well done. Sturdy and comfortable grip. As I was cooking the bacon this morning, I noticed that 75% of the handle was actually cool to the touch - it was warm near the pan and burner (or safe). I highly recommend this grill pan.
