Hard on Ankles: my feedback
Love love everything about this shoe, except for the ankle area! I guess I have to break them in and wear them around, but so far I have hiked around in them 20+ miles and my angles still hurt :(, so I am trying different socks to pad my ankles and not get bruised by these shoes. Overall, I still love the shoe because I wanted to get a hiking shoe for my toes and feet and these protect those really well! My toes no longer hurt, nor do my feet slide forward coming down hill. So I am grateful for these shoes.
- The footbed is removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics if needed
