Review on 🌹 Rosewill CULLINAN MX-Red: ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Case with Red LED Fans, 360mm AIO Water Cooling, Tempered Glass & Great Cable Management by Marfel Fekete

For reference my previous case was the NZXT Phantom White case available here NZXT Crafted Series ATX Full Tower Steel Chassis - Phantom White with Red Trim CS Computer Cases -NT-PHAN -WNR White/Red .TL;DR: The Rosewill Cullinan case is a beautiful, modular, modern case that encourages builders to think outside the box. Five years after purchasing my second gaming rig, the performance had declined to the point where I knew I couldn't put off the upgrade much longer. After carefully studying all the major components, I decided to pull the trigger and buy a Rosewill Cullinan case. My requirements were high: the case had to contain thousands of dollars worth of computer components, so solid build and design was essential. the chassis must support superior cooling solutions and provide adequate ventilation; and it should have a sleek, minimalist look. The Cullinan seems to tick all of these boxes and after putting it together and using it for a few weeks I'm pretty sure it does. The Cullinan is a fairly heavy case for its medium size, with tempered glass on the top, front and sides. contributes heavily to the overall weight, although it didn't feel flimsy when those plates were removed. Tempered glass gives the case a beautiful look when the computer is on by dimming the blue fan lights just enough so they don't distract you. Fair warning to future buyers: there is NO optical drive slot on the front glass panel; If you need this component, it must be external. The side panels can be easily removed with a flathead screwdriver and screwed back on by hand. There's also a nice plastic dust cover on top to keep the inside of the computer clean, although of course it needs cleaning from time to time to maintain optimal airflow. There is *hardly* room for an ATX form in the case. -Factory motherboard (although there is enough room for a GTX 1080 ti so PCI cards are never an issue). The side of the motherboard sits just a few millimeters from the PSU bay, which is accessed through the other side panel. Once the power supply is installed, the wires (along with the connectors on the front panel) pass through a small hole in the bay to the rest of the case. Surrounding this hole is cheap rubber that will easily separate from the case if real force is applied to it. The PSU bay also has slots for storage, so be sure to install any HDDs or SSDs before flipping the case over and replacing the rear side panel. The HDD and SSD slots contain slides that can be easily removed by pushing, although I found they didn't fit into the slot as tightly as I would like. Any backplates that need to be installed (liquid coolers) should also be attached here (there is a small gap in the metal holding the motherboard just below the processor for easy access). The motherboard gaskets are pre-installed in the case. metal, which I found very useful. Installing the motherboard is relatively easy, although clearance between the board and the PSU bay can be tricky with a standard screwdriver. There is enough space on the top to install a 360mm radiator, although a 240mm + 120mm configuration is not supported. Also, the PCI card slots on the back of the case are protected by thin metal plugs that are easily removed with a Phillips screwdriver, and the holes themselves are partially covered by some sort of plug that is held in place with a hand screw, which I think is common in modern cases, although I don't see much value. I'll update this review again when I have more time to measure the performance (especially the cooling), but for now I'm happy with the case. I think some design options make it too difficult to build, but I was willing to experiment with a new approach if it would improve long-term service. Let's see if it's worth the extra headache in the end.
