These are all good lockets (quality is expected based on price) - silver lasts the longest and gold and rose gold wear out over time. I've read reviews of how difficult it is to fit photos - and yes, it's always difficult to get photos the right size and shape to fit in a locket. This one is more difficult than the others (VERY common with others in the same price range) because it doesn't have a good edge to hold photos in place or notches for a slide.
