My husband is recovering from abdominal surgery and can't take anything around his waist. He is still housebound and often sleeps in bed. I thought a nightgown would be a good solution for comfort and convenience, and I thought flannel would be a comfortable choice, but both nightgowns soon ripped the side seams and the nightgown looked more like a nightgown poncho. Then I found this one. It stretches where the flannel resists. It's as warm as flannel. And thank god it's not a blanket. So tired of the plaid.
