If Your Pulling Carpet, Get One!

We're in the middle on renovating a house that has old wall to wall carpet. After spending nearly an hour with a hammer and screw driver in just one closet removing carpet staples, I knew there had to be a better way!Thanks to a quick Google search, I stumbled on these little gems. While I can't say it makes pulling staples 'fun!' they sure do make it a lot faster. It takes a minute to understand the mechanism, but within a few staples, you get the hang of the little clamping mechanism that helps you pull those pesky staples fairly quickly. Even if your doing one room, it's worth saving some headaches, time and floor gauging to get one of these inexpensive little tools.
