Fantastic Massage Oil

I am a professional massage therapist and have been using this product for over a year. I started using it for LomiLomi (Hawaiian massage) sessions since my teacher recommended Fractionated Coconut Oil. She's wearing Bon Vital, but I find it has an odd viscosity and odor. It's odorless, thin and has a fantastic glide. Other therapists in my class took my oil because they preferred the Bon Vital versions. I have since started using this on various modalities including deep tissue. Because the oil is thinner, slippage is easy to control. I also like that it absorbs well into the skin so clients don't feel too greasy. At the same time, it doesn't absorb too quickly, so I don't have to use a lot per session. I really have found my perfect oil. Now some say it's "too thin" or not moisturizing enough. I think it's important to remember that fractionated coconut oil doesn't contain some of the nutrients found in virgin coconut oil. If you're looking for a moisturizer, you need virgin coconut oil. It has removed the molecular components that cause butter to solidify at room temperature. This is great for MT because we don't have to heat the oil first, it spreads easily and leaves no residue. I know many MTs who like to use virgin coconut oil because they prefer to get all their vitamins from it. Personally I find it too thick for my work and Fractionated Oil is perfect for me. The bottles are cheap and the labeling looks unprofessional. Honestly I don't care. I still poured the oil into a smaller pump bottle for the massage. When I received my first bottle I confess that I thought I made a mistake and bought a crappy product because I judged it by its looks. The oil speaks for itself, since then I've bought many bottles and I don't think it's worth deducting a star just because the packaging isn't very good.
