My son is now wearing a live vest. I didn't understand that it's important, but at 8 years old it's very important. Love the fact that the vest is thick enough to feel like it can actually keep him warm and love the lining. Ebay Essentials fleece is excellent! We're all quarter zip fleece and they're thick and warm and wash really well so I didn't hesitate when I saw they were fleece lined. We would have preferred everything to be the same color, but navy blue and red look very cute. If your child is going through the vest phase, I would definitely recommend it!
