Review on Nordic Ware Microwave Bacon Defroster by Jon Bishop

I had something similar but it seems to suit the length of the bacon better. This particular tray is about 2 inches long, making it necessary to stack the bacon in a pile. The lid is bulky, especially when hot, and don't cook more than 4-5 as the grease tray fills enough to spill hot grease when removed from the microwave. I no longer use a lid, I just place paper towels on top of the bacon. The lid seems to lie sluggishly on the tray and is so delicate that you have to hold the tray yourself when removing it from the microwave because if you wrap your hands around the lid and tray the lid will slip off. Use oven mitts! Both the bowl and especially the lid are filled with hot steam. All in all not happy with this purchase.
