I don't play games to start with. I returned a more expensive gaming monitor to the store and bought it online. I got a review from a pc on the internet and went with it. The price suited me more, a more budget monitor. It was well packaged and had good instructions. (Not the case with the gaming monitor I returned.) I was surprisingly pleased. I really like this monitor. My only regret is that I don't have a webcam, but I wanted to start small and learn what I wanted. I can get or upgrade the webcam later. This is my first desktop computer, I've been using a laptop all the time so this was my first: I'm very satisfied. I like the looks, the color, the weight: it's light and I can easily rotate it to different angles for viewing. There's also a fairly extensive panel for showing various options for changing your viewing capabilities. I'm new to this but I think everyone will be happy with all this has to offer at a "budget" price.
