For me the silicone o-ring is the silicone o-ring. I don't expect them to last long when using my Instant Pot. I chose them because they are available on subscription and save, which makes it easier for me to access new ones when they wear out. If it seems like your IP is taking forever to withstand the pressure, it probably isn't the optimal o-ring. Replace often!
