Very grippy rubber and good flexible fit.
I usually wear a size 7 for women, but when I tried them on in the store, an 8.5 seemed right to me. A few days later I bought them online for a cheaper price and after a few hikes I was glad I went with the 8.5. I wore them to walk around Yosemite at Half Dome and they felt very secure on granite rocks, offered good support and were flexible enough to wear. I would buy! They fit my narrow feet much better than other shoes I've tried.
