LED "candles" I like Haypatak with some caveats. First, the description is wrong. The first line says "real wax LED candles". There is nothing on these candles that looks like wax or wax-like material. In fact, these are not candles at all; They are more like an impressionistic version of a candle, consisting of a frosted glass cylinder implanted with a flickering amber LED. From a short distance, they look like candles in a frosted glass chimney, and if they were mixed with real candles, it would be easy to fool them into thinking they're real too. Although the description says batteries are not included, the two smallest units come with batteries installed (these are small hearing aid batteries), while the larger units do not include batteries and require two AA batteries each. Devices with built-in batteries have a small plastic latch that needs to be pulled out to allow the batteries to touch, but I was able to turn them on without removing it, meaning they're not designed to save batteries. while in stock. The description also sounds like you get 6 candles and 6 separate frosted glass lampshades, but it's actually all one piece. Each device was turned on with a small switch on the bottom, and this is where the biggest quality control issue comes in. On the two units I received the switch wasn't fully recessed, so the spark plug doesn't sit flat (it wobbles because part of the switch is sticking out). Glass fireplaces are fragile but they are well packaged, each unit in a separate foam bag. Overall I really like it but for $36 I wasn't expecting such quality control issues.
