Review on πŸ“€ Insignia NS-D150A13 DVD Player with Progressive Scan by Edward Freeland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price and great performance!

Well I think I have to disagree with all the other reviewers because I got really lucky with a refurbished Insignia DVD player I bought about 4 months ago. I bought this for my young son's room and he uses this player at night and quite often during the day. So he's used it about 200 times since I bought it. I had no problems with disk detection or ripping at all. In fact I was very impressed with the type of DVDs my son expected from this player, how many scratches there are on some of them, but so far it's been working fine. The remote control responds, all buttons work as they should. If I run into any issues soon I'll update this review, but for now I'm glad I took the risk by reading the reviews. It's a nice little car at a great price! As for the condition it arrived in compared to other reviewers: It arrived fully sealed in its packaging with all cables and remote control neatly packaged in individual pouches, the DVD player was well protected in a brand new box and that Product manual and the accessories were crisp and brand new. All cables were included to easily hook it up to my son's TV. Nothing was a mission. This refurbished DVD player showed no signs of use. I purchased this unit from seller "newtownvideos" through Revain's warehouse. Not sure who used the others but I'm glad I bought mine from them after hearing a few stories! You may want to consider buying from them if you are thinking of purchasing this item. Also, it would be helpful if those with negative reviews could indicate which seller they used in their review. Maybe all "double deck" DVD players are made by the same person and it's not really a bad unit issue, it's more a bad Revain salesman trying to sell an item that should be fixed but was not repaired. I think it is.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not the best
