Bought for nostalgic reasons. In the 90s, I went with this to the parking lot and back. Then it was not so much a reliable source of light as an effective means of self-defense. Six elements of type D in a steel pipe a good half a meter long - a very weighty argument. On a well-known Chinese site, I bought an Led lamp, specifically for this brand and model of a lantern, and received an eternal source of light. The only drawback is that the regular diffuser with this lamp does not give a very even light spot. But these are trifles. With this Chinese light bulb, the lantern hits 250 meters. I haven’t tried to beat them in the head yet, but I think that in this case it is no less effective. I recommend the flashlight. As they say, these are not made now.
