Until now I never thought that I would love to cut on a cutting board. It's amazing how my knife glides and doesn't get stuck in wood or plastic and I've tried both for years. This is the best! My knife glides, no scratches, and I even put a hot pan out of the oven on it, and no burns or marks! I bought two small ones, one for the other side of my kitchen cabinets, one I use for chopping/peeling veggies at the end of the island to toss the cuts straight into the trash. These two are large, just the right size I have in the island portion of the countertop. The best cutting boards!
