Bought these for my 10 year old and they seem a bit short. The lace is just for show and doesn't work but still fits her. But my daughter has a big butt. Is always. I used to think it was baby food, but no. It's her figure, she has a butt, so these shorts are a little revealing. I don't have pajama bottoms, but she wears them as summer shorts (it's hard to find clothes that she likes and fits because she has sensory issues), so yeah, she won't be able to wear them to school or outings, but it can be outside in our yard or at home. I would order a size up to avoid if you don't want wedges. And you have an ass.
