This is an Intel 9560 Wifi/Bluetooth chip "optimized" for CNVi M.2 slots with a Gigabit PCIe card and antenna. It's possible to buy the exact same chip without the antenna and riser for $15, but I felt the kit was worth the extra money considering all the Bluetooth dongles I've used are unreliable. If your motherboard says it has CNVi, this should work in it. I am using the MSI Z390 Pro. Installation took a while to set up out of the box. I had to dig into the advanced settings to accommodate my old router (TP-Link 1750) by disabling all the features my router didn't have. The chip also required a driver update after installation. The chip worked fairly reliably after that, with a few hiccups that I believe are software conflicts (described below). After installing the 9650 I noticed that my two MSI Z390's were using constant 9k up/down network traffic on the network. The original applications were these two. I tried a normal uninstall but the programs came back right away if the dragon center was also installed. I had to uninstall all MSI software for it to go away. After uninstalling those apps, I had reliable connections and speeds that matched wired connections, as others have pointed out. Potential installation issues aside, I would recommend this product.
