I was very disappointed that they were primarily used on oven racks as the temperature limit made them unusable for most baking or cooking jobs I can do - a plus as others have pointed out - you are short so you will need to cut them and assemble a cover for the oven rack. However, I have found other uses for them that they are great for. I have a wire mesh basket on the tumble dryer that marked the wall when accidentally pushed, so I now have one of those nice red guards on the top edge of the mesh basket and - voila - no new markings on the walls!
