Review on Black Hydrapak Blaster BITE Valve with 1/4-Inch Inner Diameter (I.D.) by Kevin Schnitzer

I was disappointed with this bite valve when I opened the box. The bite valve stem I'm replacing is about 1/4 inch longer than this short one. The reason this is a problem is that the tube stretched as soon as I pulled the old stemmed bite valve out of the tube. The shorter handle is not secure and wants to pop out. If the shaft was longer the fit would be more secure. Haven't used it yet to check if it works. I wanted to return this bite valve for a replacement, but Revane's list of trade-in options wasn't interesting. (The trade list must be saved items or a wish list.)
