I don't really understand how it works but I'll tell you, it works! I didn't look like a true believer, but I was speechless. We live in apartments it sucks but the people living above us were gross. When they moved in, they had dog poop and urine everywhere since they didn't take their lab and chihuahua outside. Especially the patio for dogs but they also had cats that no one knew. They had boxes of kitty litter stacked on top of boxes. There was also a dead bird. The point is, ROCKARANS! Our homes, especially ours, have been infested! Maintenance work bombarded the building, and pests came to us every month for several months. Those people have been gone for a year but the roaches are still there. I installed these plugins on Friday and today is Thursday. Not a single cockroach! Not alone! Coincidentally throw a few. Like I'm a professional cockroach killer now. Not alone. They sprayed and fought pests, set baited traps, and that doesn't come cheap either. But these little plugs! Wonderful! The bad thing is that you can't plug anything else into an outlet, but you can certainly buy a multiple socket, which is worthwhile. I have one in every room. It brought peace and sanity. Buy it! You won't regret it, unless of course your blue lightbulb/plug is defective and if so, replace it with Revain!
