This review is for 1 of 4 products that I bought separately to bring my idea to life. Wiring: this product Tube light: B072J99P3P Fittings: B0797XZT91T300 LEDs Original fittings are cheap with this wiring and as you can see from all reviews so far they hold up for most cases. I didn't buy this socket kit, I bought it for the parallel wiring already done for me. I didn't cut the wire to remove the bushings that came with the wire, I disassembled the bushings individually. The first was shot in 10-15 minutes, the other two were much easier. Of course, you don't need any special tools other than a screwdriver to pry something open and unscrew it. There is no easy way to do this and you will permanently damage the cheap sockets you remove. This suited me as I wanted to replace them with purchased bronze rosettes. I reused the nipple that came with the wire and it just worked with the sockets I bought. The nipple that came with bronze bushings was too tight for the wire. I got lucky with nipples. True story. Finding the correct installation order between the non-standard outlets, this cable, and the device took a few tries, but it wasn't rocket science. If you embark on a journey, you will find your way around quickly. In the end I was very happy with the results. Upgraded ceramic bronze sockets, dimmable LEDs, pendant mount just the way I wanted it. The only thing I lost are the individually switchable outlets that I could lose. Hope this review helps someone else. I actually asked this question, wondering if outlets could be replaced, and didn't get a good answer. I chose to take a risk with every purchase and the sizing worked! $100 for the project, not bad considering I ended up with 3 pendant lights.
