Why didn't I do this sooner!
This is one of those items that made me think, "why didn't I do this before?โ It's amazing how a little change can make things look better in my home and work. Now I can keep the laundry room door closed AND my cat can still access her stuff and the litter box. GOOD TIP: I installed this on a hollow core door. But it still has solid wood on the bottom. Four screws are required for each side of the cat door. Two above and two below. Don't waste time screwing the bottom two screw holes. You won't go all the way in. Instead, just use short screws of about the same length. Then use the provided screws on the top two screw holes. They work great going through MDF door stock.
