I bought it for high voltage DC and amperage. It's compact, has a good mounting system with screws on the front, and the switch action is a noticeable but quiet click, unlike a home-style switch that requires a lot of force with a noticeable clunk. How many on/off cycles it can accommodate is unknown. My usage is not random but frequent with potentially hundreds of cycles.
