I bought this replacement bulb for my 2003 Escalade and expected it to be the same shade as the original. It's not, and it's a lot yellower. Let me clarify my taste by saying that I don't like blue light at all and that was a big trend about 8 years ago. The parking light on the passenger side is rather blue, but definitely not blue light, but not yellowish either. It's just brighter and sharper compared to the yellowish Philips Xenon bulb I got and I don't like the color at all. This is similar to my 1970 Camaro headlights which, like all headlights from that era, are yellow in tint. I installed it on my Escalade for about a week and still haven't driven a truck at night. I threw away the packaging so who knows what I can do with it now. I wouldn't even know how to determine what color the other brand would be compared to this Philips. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy one of the vendors so I don't have to buy the yellowing onion. I don't think it's unfair to give it 1 star for its color because who wants yellowish headlights on a luxury car.? Did I mention that the color of this lightbulb is yellow?
