Good compression but seam kills my toes

When I developed plantar fasciitis in one foot I looked for compression stockings to help me walk again. These socks offer good compression, I give them it: not too much, just enough to feel it when I put the socks on for the first time, and then I really forgot about them as far as compression goes. But the seams on the fingers are just awesome. I adjusted them, put them on, tried everything I could think of, but no matter what, the stitching rubs against my toes and ends up peeling off the skin. It bothered my feet so much that I now carefully check the seams before I buy new socks! I won't wear them anymore, especially not for running. It's just too painful due to a stitching that wasn't done well at all.
