I keep hearing that Darn Tough is better than SmartWool, but I guess I'm SmartWool Gal. After wearing a pair of SmartWool socks a few years later, I thought I'd see what the fuss was about. They seem very strong and firm but I found them slightly itchy and too warm. They didn't bother me later that day, but I can't bring myself to wear them again. I ordered another SmartWool today.
