I'm not sure this is technically a problem with the product. Nonetheless, it won't work for what I intended because it is too sensitive to on/off. I've tried various configurations and power supply (wall plug) options. I bought this to use under my computer desk to light my solar panel keyboard on a secondary shelf I installed under the main computer desk top. Problem is, it keeps turning itself on or off - at widely spaced and unpredictable intervals. And, I think it is having some interaction with the computer itself as there seem to be times when odd things happen on the computer at the same time as on the light.To check if the device was simply defective I plugged into a kitchen outlet, with no computer on the line. It seemed to work fine there. No unexpected on or off behavior.So, I don't know precisely what is producing the behavior. However, factually I can't use it in what otherwise seems a normal application - plugged into grounded power, installed under a shelf.I'm not going to return it because I'm not sure it is actually a product defect, technically. If I can figure out why it behaves as it does then I'll update this.
