Overall this is a good price for what you get. But the design needs to be changed. I used to have a scraper of the same shape, but the sisal covered the entire top of the curved part of the scraper. This allowed my cat to remain standing while scratching. My older cat doesn't want to lie down to scratch that small area right in front. Shek occasionally scratches the carpet, but it's clearly not as comfortable as sisal. I've searched the internet (for days) for an equivalent replacement, but haven't found anything. Mine was 15 years old and completely used/scratched. It was the only one I could find. While it's aesthetic, it's not very functional.
