Bought these socks when our 6lb Yorkie was scratching her face with her nails. They didn't want her to wear a cone, so we figured if she wore socks she wouldn't be able to scratch herself. These are thick socks with non-slip silicone inserts on the bottom. The quality is excellent. Suitable for her paws for a 6 lb dog. My only issue (and reason for 4 stars and not 5) is that the dog takes off his socks very easily. We had to try wrapping her paw with medical tape but she insists. I would recommend these if your dog needs socks and can be counted on to wear them for whatever they need. If you must leave them on your dog without taking them off, you will need to look elsewhere.
