Love this monitor + a cable solution - READ FOR MAC SETUP

This monitor looks fantastic. I originally ordered a Dell U3818DW and it had some very serious issues with ghosting. So far I didn't want to spend more than 400€ on it. I love it. I've never had a good monitor, so . I have a 16" MacBook Pro for work and an M1 Macbook Air for home use. Both work great with this monitor after some adjustments: UPDATE FOR macOS 11.3.1. If you are using Big Sur, there are some bugs with Thunderbolt that cause crashes and update issues. This is fixed in this update. To disable Smart Energy Saver in LG monitor menu, make sure HDR is disabled on your MacBook. For some reason, you cannot toggle Smart Power Saving on/off , when HDR is active it will be grayed out. To enable full screen resolution and refresh options you must HOLD the OPTION button and PRESS the zoom option selector. Then select View low resolution modes. It should be noted that you Can't have HDR at 144Hz, but it works at 120Hz. My 16" Macbook has a default max resolution of 3008 x 1253 at 75Hz, while d my M1 actually dials 3840 x 1600 at 60Hz. Now I've set them to their maximum resolution with HDR :) but it got annoying for a moment. More Details: The Thunderbolt cable that comes with the monitor is very nice and not super stiff like most Thunderbolt cables. The monitor is very light compared to the Dell I tried. IPS leaks are very minimal, no dead pixels, but it's only been a week.
