Great for listening to old memories

Works great! My Sony Walkman needs repairs and I haven't found anyone to fix it for me. I saw it on a prime day at an insanely low price so I sang it thinking I had nothing to lose. All my tapes are regular tapes, no metal etc. Most of these are Sunday services, the rest are mixed tapes that I made and kept with purchased tapes from my favorite bands etc. All play and sound great. The volume is a little lower than expected, but it's fantastic with headphones. I'm giving 4 stars because all the adapters I own are 5v and it says you need a 4, Need 5V adapters so now I need to find and buy one of these. If an adapter was included, I would give 5 stars. It works well on battery and all of my radios that I live with work very well. I checked FM for this review and it's good too. I didn't try to record anything. I will say there is no hum when listening to my tapes. I ordered another tape recorder same day and am hearing a loud hum when playing the same tape so one will be back. This is one of those guys if you want to revive those old mixtapes and sermons lol. I have an old FM transmitter for my car and I was able to plug a headphone jack into it and play it through the car speakers with the FM transmitter, so that's nice. Now I can listen to my dad's old sermons when I go to work and stuff. It's so nice to hear his voice again in good quality. I still want to fix my Sony Walkman but now I can wait until I find someone who can do it right. Thank you seven! I would pay a little more with a power supply.
