Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

Be prepared for hiccups in the operation of your USB ports if you decide all of a sudden that you want to connect a hard drive that has Windows 7 pre-installed on it and has been customized for you during the years that you have used Windows 7. (both 2.0 and 3.0). When you make an attempt to install the USB controller driver provided by the manufacturer, the blue screen of death will appear the next time you boot your personal computer. The only way to avoid the issue is to either update to a new version of Windows or reinstall Windows 7 with the USB3.0 drivers already loaded. There is no other solution (instructions supplied by the motherboard manufacturer) As a result, I was required to play around with reinstalling the operating system and configuring everything, everything, everything so that everything functioned as it had previously. The speed at which the personal computer responds to any of your orders is the sole aspect that does not function as it did before (FPS jumps in games disappeared, lags disappeared while surfing the net on heavy sites - everything reacts instantly) It is also important for me to point out that at the time of writing this review, you can find more productive i7 processors from the previous generation for the same price or even a lower price if the new 14nm technology is not a top priority for you. This is something that I want to emphasize. Everything else about the i5 6600 processor is top-notch.

Pros
  • The perfect environment for cutting-edge video games and virtual reality
Cons
  • Skylake does not wish to work in an adequate capacity with the pre-installed version of Windows 7. (due to USB 3.0 controller incompatibility)
