This freezer worked very well, was easy to use and froze quickly. While it holds half a pint, that amount will likely stick to the lid (which doesn't hurt, of course, but can get messy). The assembly and disassembly is very easy and the freezer is ready for use in a short time. Due to the nature of the freezer container this will have a thin layer of very hard frozen ice cream on it so you have to be careful, it is best to use a plastic spoon or scraper to get the last piece out of the freezer container. It has a non-stick coating that can be scratched fairly easily. After a quick freeze, the bowl keeps ice cream frozen for a surprisingly long time. If eaten straight from the freezer, it has a long shelf life. Overall it does what it says on the tin, easy to use and really good for a small serving per person. I'm glad I bought it.
