This light is very bright and easily lights up my entire garage. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks almost as bright as when I open the garage door, but it's definitely white instead of yellow. There is more light than the two incandescent bulbs I used before. Installation took less than five minutes. Once I pulled out the ladder it was like installing any other lightbulb. Adjustable slats make it easy to direct the light to every corner of the garage, but to be honest it doesn't make much of a difference since the light is so bright. I'm thinking of using it in a dorm instead of a garage. My dorm has very dim lights installed, but since this light has a standard bulb screw it would be very easy to fit it into a floor lamp. I can highly recommend this lamp.
