Review on JDM ASTAR High Performance Super Bright 1:1 Design 3020 Chips 7440 7441 7443 7444 992 White LED Bulbs: Illuminate with Supreme Brilliance! by Phillip Reed

These are LED bulbs worth upgrading to. The diodes aren't actually in the same place as the filament in the halogen 7440s, but they're closer than any other options I've seen. I installed them in my GX470 reverse lights and the pattern came out very well with much more useful light than both the standard bulbs and the "super bright" JDMAstar bulbs I've installed in the past. The GX470 has limited space so longer LEDs won't fit, but these fit fine. The only issue I had was one of the bulbs was DOA so I had to send in a replacement. A minor inconvenience, but a bit annoying when you have to tug on the inner cargo door panel to access the lightbulbs.
