The length of 200mm is a really nice piece though.
All sockets connect to the plug the wrong way around. When connected, black connects to red and red connects to black. This error can be corrected with a fine needle or scraper by squeezing the notched tab on the female wire in the connector body. It takes quite a bit of pressure to squeeze the barb enough to pull the wires out of the socket body. Once removed, use the needle to lift the barb back up and reinsert it on the opposite side it came out of. After both wires are swapped, they are properly connected to the connector.
