These were a present for someone in Wyoming who has Raynods ( not sure of spelling ). She rides and says they work great in the saddle but not so well on the ground. No heat on the bottoms. With that said she has has heated socks before and did not like them at all. To many wires, too thick for boots and very uncomfortable. These are very comfortable, fit great in her boots, easy to turn off and on and stayed warm consistantly. So she is very pleased with her present and I got a big Thanks. Which I am passing on to you.
